I can't find my original thread, but have not solved my issue
The max ac....highest fan speed doesn't work
What can be the culprit?
the part that attaches to the side of the unit?
the switch itself
the button control unit
am I missing a part on that list?

The highest speed of the blower fan doesn't work. So, no difference between ac and max ac.
What do I need to fix this?
The heater fan resistor that is mounted on the outside of the heater/ac box under the dash?
if not, what and where can I get one of whatever?

I installed the newly rebuild Ac/heater box (thanks Steve).
The previous owner had bypassed everything and ran the hoses in a loop. If I put the hoses back on the "ports" that they fit, I have: the lower hose from the valve, connected to the inner fitting on the heater core....

can someone post a diagram of the 1970 A/C vacuum line routing. I have the service manual, but am hoping that someone has a more simple/stupid pic or diagram

I'm certain that I will do a modern engine side A/C upgrade, but am torn on what to do with the interior A/C equipment.

How exactly do you remove a heater/ac box?
I have the center vent, radio and glove box out. I have removed the switches.
