I think I've asked this before, but what's the purpose of this hole in the firewall?
(Rectangular one between the heater core nipples and the ac evaporator nipples)
Is the thin thermocouple from the interior on the heater/a.c. box suppose to protrude through the firewall?

Accidentally tore this during the heater box removal.
Do the make after markets?
If not I need a used one. Doesn't need to be exact. Just needs to fit '70 Coronet
So, I have the interior tore out of my Bee. I beleive the heater box and components all to be original.
What should I do? What parts should I replace if any? Its an A/C car and I intend on putting a Vintage Air or Classic Air R134 update under the hood.
Blower motor spins
My 95 Dakota is up to capacity on coolant, has a new thermostat, the blower works fine, and the temp gauge says it's up to temp.
I've flushed the system and still no heat.
Before I tear the dash out and lose all of my A/C 134a pressure to replace the heater core is there any thing I'm overlooking?
