My 69 RR was not charging except at high RPM so I swapped out the alternator for a new one.
The bad one was a square back 3 terminal unit, so I picked up a new one from Pep boys for a 72 Satty. After hooking everything up same as before (1 field wire to regulator and 1 to ground) my dash gauge...

Dizzy in question is a MSD Pro-billet pn 8386 with vac advance can.
Engine 383, MP Purple 509 cam, low vac (7-8" at 950 rpms)
Currently running 18deg btdc initial timing

I'm rewiring my car front to back. The following 2 items were not hooked up at all.
Can someone describe for me how the wires should be routed for the Reverse Switch on the Tranny (through the firewall?) and same for the fuel tank sender?

Ok, I've read through tons of posts about doing a complete re-wiring, with a lot of good comments and I think that I have learned 1 thing about selecting the right wiring kit (Ron Francis, Painless, M&H, ect)........"It depends"
So based on that I'm wondering if you can make some suggestions...
