I can't find a reference in the electrical diagrams to this relay on my 67 Satellite, mounted off inner fender.
It looks alot like the stater relay that's at the firewall but has a wire to positive battery side and an inline fuse to the headlight harness?
I decided I wanted to do the easier ammeter bypass in my 67 Sat by bolting together the feeds and taping up really good.
My question is would you expect them to get warm?
Secondary question, if I wanted to wire ammeter back up, is there a sequence putting it back on stud, meaning is there an...

I'm assuming the high volt. may have messed with my headlight switch. I previously had taken it out to try and "clean" it up due to intermittent issues. I swapped many of the instrument dash bulbs to...
so looks like my voltage reg. is going (15.6v at batt.) and as I verified my alt. amps (60) I thought I read somewhere that 2nd FLD terminal should be grounded.
Is that right?

ride home last night had the low beams flicker and go out. Tried the switch a few times and they came on but went out again. High beams stayed on so I drove home that way.
My understanding is the dimmer and switch are one unit? Would that be the most likely culprit or would a instrument volt...
I know LED halo ring headlights might not be for everyone but I've decided to go for it.
