What do you guys use for starters?
This is one I bought from a parts store and it won't even bolt onto the motor securely do to clearance issues. It wants to hit the block up high and won't draw in on the front
Engine is a 440, probably came from a motor home originally.
I'm installing all new wiring harnesses on a 70 Coronet I purchased as a roller.
I know where the bulkhead goes through the firewall and which plugs connect to the column but I'm in the dark on how the harness is positioned.

I've purchases all the necessary harnesses from CI, just wondering what some of you have done.
Authenticity is not a priority, it need only function reliably.
Could I grab one of any 68-70 B or are the not all the same?
Have any of you welded a support from the tray to the subframe? With day 1/8" rod?
This looks/feels way too flimsy to hold a battery.
It would be much easier to do before I drop the motor in.
