Just bought a replacement switch…it has the normal connectors on the top that the harness plugs in to but on the back there is an extra tab- anyone know what is supposed to go on it?

I saw in a thread already that I’m not able to connect an MSD with my factory tach. But then another person recommended a new tach board from real time engineering.
Just to clarify- would this new tach board enable my factory tach to work with my MSD...
