Is there a way to get 12v switched from the starter relay? I have the battery out and most of the dash disassembled so I can’t hook up the battery to check.
While does everything that we buy for our car, efi, electric fans, etc., need to go straight to the battery. I understand that the battery acts as a “filter”, but with everything going there, there has to be 8-10 wires. Looks friggin’ ugly and I want it to look nice.
Anyone have some ideas?
I bought the EZ Wiring harness, and after 3 hours of looking at the FSM and the small printing on the wires, my eye said that was enough and proceeded to get a migraine.....that lasted for 2 days. Anyone close to Fresno that wouldn't mind helping me. I've got plenty of YOUR favorite adult...
Having a tough time getting 14.2-14.5 volts on my dads 70' Challenger. All factory wiring, dual field alt., and no ballast due to the FAST EFI set up. Still has the ammeter, it's working, but he has 11 volts at the coil, 14.3 at the alt., and the fuel pump has 11.2 volts.
He replaced the...
Does the switch or the wiper motor control the speed? In other words, a 1,2, or 3 speed wiper what makes it so? I have a 64 polara 500 and I'm sure it's only a 1 speed, go and park. Could this be made into a 2 or 3 speed wiper with changing the switch or both? Just asking out of total...
Does anyone know what the correct size bulb for the front turn signal would be on a 64 dodge? I tried the 1157, but it doesnt want to fit in the socket.
The head lights that I put into the car have an H4 bulb, 55 watt low beam/65watt high beam. The Ron Francis wiring that I'm using has to relays, 1 for the horn, and 1 for an electric fan. The fan relay is rated at 30 amps, and I figured that the headlights on high beam would draw 12 amps max...
Has anyone used these or planning to use? I'm looking to get some for my project and do away with the inner headlights, so I want headlights that put out alot of light, any thoughts or comments? Also, all wiring in the car is new, no 40 plus year stuff.
