Well gens - I have looked around and can’t seem to find a decent rear drivers floor pan for a 1964 Polara - seen a piece listed as 60-63 but nothing for 1964 - any advice or where to look?
Hello guys - looking to start collecting some parts to keep moving forward on my 64 Polara. I am in the market for a fiberglass hood but can't seem to find a reasonable one anywhere.
Anyone know of a source? Also may be in the market for bumpers and fenders
I know a lot of this is subjective to the area I live in (SoCal) but is there any value to the things I will be removing from my '64 Polara - namely the following
- Tapered Axle 8 3/4 -- I know they have gone way of the Do-do bird and most people prefer the later and easier to work on style but...
So maybe I am just lacking on the whole research topic but looking through all the parts suppliers for these cars - I don't see anyone selling the foam for the rear seat of the 64 polara -- am i missing it somewhere?
Also - anyone know where to get the small oral trim piece for the front door...
So I don't have my 64 Polara in front of me but am looking at starting to buy some parts - looking at all the weatherstripping - I am used to my 68 Charger...
So I assume is that I need the following
- Windshield Gasket
- Rear Window Gasket
- Trunk gasket
- Door "roof" seals
- Door...
What are you guys running for replacement leafs on your 1964? Looking at the factory specs and they are 21" front and 35" rear... Later B body is 22/36 and A bodies are 20/35... so do you guys get replacement 1964 leafs or just run extended front hangers and run A body leafs?
So I am getting some things in motion to get my Polara heart transplant done - and I am questioning my K-member... it's a factory 64 K member but I am throwing in a 440 with an 8-71 on it... I know forward real-state is limited -- anyone done it?

So I have a 4-speed console plate for my 64 Polara project (going to a 4-speed swap) and it has the nice big hole in it for the factory instrument.... Which begins my question
What originally went here? I assume a tach? I've seen other consoles with clocks and even a vacuum gauge... so...
