Looking for pictures or even a part number of early b body radiators, specifically 1964.
I'm shopping around for a new radiator and i want it look correct, but i dont need it to be the exact right part number.
I'm shopping around for some fiberglass front end parts for my 1964 fury wagon. I'm thinking im going to do a fiberglass hood and front bumper, and then possibly a set of front fenders too.
Does anyone know if a 1963 plymouth front bumper would fit and look "proper" on a 1964.
I've looked at...
Does anyone know who rebuilds these early wiper motors. A few people restore the later ones but I havent found anyone for early ones
Has anyone dealt with a bad switch before? If my switch tests bad how can I go about repairing it? Anyone update the switch and figure out how to adapt a newer...
Where do I find these? Reproduced ?
I kinda need some, lol!
I have that original piece rear trim actually. It was given to me by the PO, he managed to keep track track of it... but it looks like it was used as a baseball bat. I might be able to straighten it out. Unfortunately the rear...
I ordered one of those rem brand glove boxes its like folded up plastic coated fiberboard from classic industries. the first one they sent fit so bad half of the flat metal nuts were in slightly wrong places, I talked with them on the phone last week and was convinced I received a bad one. they...
I cant imagine the switch is that complicated, mine wont work the rear signals or break lights and I'm thinking maybe a connection just got corroded and needs cleaned or maybe a small piece needs replaced... but I cant figure out how to take the darn thing apart. namely the cancelling cam. its...
I need some of this stuff
It's what lines the station wagon luggage area of the 1964 and maybe other years, Plymouth and maybe dodge too.
The original stuff that I have is intact enough for my liking, but someone replaced the 9th passenger seat back with cheesy patterened carpet and it...
Has anyone tried to slightly raise, or redo the parking brake cable configuration. I built and installed a dual exhaust system about a month ago, but would like to raise it an inch or so.
The parking brake cables are touching the tops of the exhaust pipes just barely and I'm worried this will...
I think I may have misplaced a couple of the dash screws that attach the heater switch bezel to the instrument cluster.
I think the 64 cars used 5 of these screws total, 3 for shifter bezel, and 2 for heater bezel.
Anyone know if these screw (or almost identical) are being reproduced. Where...
took for test drive last night after doing the rear brakes. the push button unit has always felt a bit flimsy (not sure if that's the right word) and not very smooth or firm feeling. it doesn't have the felt gasket that is supposed to surround buttons, so maybe that's all it that is, idk. here...
I just ordered "18 nos 62-65 b body windshield clips" for my 64 fury. the clips I received seem slightly shorter or smaller than the original clips, but its hard to tell because my original ones are basically disintegrated. any one know about this?
the guy also mentions in his add at the end...
began the dreaded task of replacing the rusted out portions of the cowl today. damage is localized underneath and around the wiper pivot area on each side, which is apparently very common issue on 1962-65 cars. The driver side interior (lower) cowl panel collected debris and there is no drain...
I have an original 1964 Plymouth fury with its original early 727, the type with the push in speedo and park cable housing. I know the trans its different in some regards to the later ones,...
but will any 727 pan, or pan gasket, work for my 64 727 ?
Checked classic industries, seemed like they had a lot of stuff for the 64 fury wagon (not sure if rear doors are same on a four door model and sw) but they only had door window seal kits for 2 door and convertible models. Where do I find a set for a wagon/ 4 door. they are missing from my car...
I cant seem to find one for sale. all the ones on eBay say they only go up to 1957-1961 Plymouth wagons. what gives. also bought a few from rockauto that said they would fit but they don't.
I need a seal for the speedometer pinion. I bought one on but it turned out to be wrong. its about an 1/8" too large in diameter, I have my old one which is damaged to compare it too, but also it just doesn't fit. I know someone must have been down this road... thanks in advance.
Here's a pic...
where can I find a speedometer cable for my 1964 fury. original 318 pushbutton torqueflight. the cable is roughly 6 feet or so.
does anyone make these new, or do I have to find a used one?
I bought one that said it would fit my 64 fury, but now that im trying to install it i can see its...
