70 Road Runner with only the inside & driver side original mirrors. After several close mishaps with other drivers on the right side during my cat-like maneuvers, I've decided to install an original/matching mirror ( non remote ) on that side. Quality & appearance are important. BUT at $110...
Had my 70 Road Runner gauge assembly rebuilt, restored & calibrated by a professional company. Gauges were still not accurate. Gauge restorer blamed the sending units; sender suppliers blamed the gauge restorer. Sound sadly familiar ? The fuel gauge still refuses to read above 1/2, but I'm...
70 Road Runner 383. After having my gauges restored, my water temp gauge reads too high. ( I've checked with a laser & second gauge). What is the original temperature rating of the OEM sending unit ? And, if the gauge reads too high, do I install a higher or lower rated sending unit ?
Thanks, Rocket

One of our members asked about matching numbers and someone else mentioned Corvette obsessions. Here's just a few of the obscene examples I found on eBay for new old stock original Corvette bolts ( yes, bolts ! )
* 7/16" bolt with "dimple " : $95.
* 1/4" ignition shield bolt with "3 circles " ...
Thinking about going to Mopars at Englishtown on August 20th. Haven't been before. Looks like good drag races, but are there any other activities I could expect ? I also like vendors , car shows, etc.
Your opinions ? Thanks, Rocket
Installing the 4 speed in my Road Runner. New everything. Shop manual says to use the C3951 alignment tool. I want to get this done without waiting for the tool that will only be used once. Anyone have suggestions for setting the linkage arms without the tool ?
Thanks, Rocket
My 1970 Plymouth factory workshop manual shows the back side schematic for the standard dash, but not the rally. I've had my gauges restored & want to make sure all the colors match-up with the correct gauges. Does anyone have a schematic showing the wiring connections on the back side of the 70...
Hard time finding a pair of original-style spring clamps for the 1/2" heater hose. Hose has a .750" O.D. Only received clamps for the 5/8" which are too big. Who sells these? Thanks, Rocket
Have a crack one of my OEM fan blades and would like to upgrade to an aluminum or stainless flex fan, but can't find one that attaches to the original viscous adapter. Does anyone make one ? Is a direct attachment a better way to go ?
Thanks, Rocket
70 Road Runner. According to Nicks Garage, the correct jack hook is 2931103. I need one but can't find it anywhere. Is there another hook that would work on my bumper ? I don't care about having the correct number. Just want to be able to lift the car. Thanks, Rocket
I'm following MJB765 thread about what his car is worth and feel it's time for all of us to reconsider prices for MOPARS.
1. There's debate if MJB's car is worth $25K or more. We shouldn't even be talking about those low numbers. A comparable Chevelle, Camaro, Mustang, etc. would be $35-$50,000...
70 Road Runner. Dual master cylinder. Appears original, but... ?
I'm removing the master cylinder to replace it with a Wilwood system. Usually the M/C is attached directly to the fire wall by nuts threaded onto studs. But mine is mounted on a larger black plate. Both the plate & M/C show only...
I listed these in High Performance parts for sale, but had no response. A matched pair a tubular headers removed from a 70, 383 Road runner. One small dent & surface rust. No rot. Only identification is " R423". Pick up in Vermont or I'm traveling to Passon near Hazleton, Pa. om Friday &...
70 Road Runner, 383. The rubber portion of the engine mounts have a welded nut on one end but the other end has a hole that is much larger than the diameter of the bolt's shank. To me, this indicates that under the bolt's hex there would be a shoulder to fill the space or, at the least, a shim...
70 Road Runner, 383, 4 speed.
Well, the time has arrived to actually pull the engine. I'm in a home garage so time & space are limited, but I do have a cherry picker, balancing tool & engine stand. Anyone remove the 383 with the 4 speed gearbox still attached ? Let me know the best (easiest ? )...
70 Road Runner. Delco Remy 60 amp alternator with double pulley. Hard for me to accept that the alternator pulley is attached with only a press fit, but, OK. I have a good puller, but still unable to remove. Is heat needed? I worry about heat & electronics. Help, please. Thanks, Riocket
