I had my 1969 Coronet R/T at a shop to see if they can help with a run on issue (dieseling). They rebuilt my carburetor and used engine cleaner to get what they believed was a carbon build up. Lastly, they adjusted my timing. I picked the car up and it ran fine although it seemed sluggish. The...
My 1968 Coronet R/T originally had a vinyl top but I had it taken off and the roof painted during its restoration. Should the pinch welds have been hidden instead of visible on a painted top hardtop sedan?
Thanks
Mark
My '68 R/T finally came back home after a four year restoration. It has a stroked 512 with Indy heads and TTI full exhaust, Wilwood disk brakes, Gear Vendors overdrive, Borgeson power steering box and QA1 suspension and carbon drive shaft. I bought it just before my ex wife filed for divorce...
My heater core is leaking and i want to re-route the heater hoses to make a U-bend at the firewall and water pump until the new core arrives. Would this hurt the water pump since it will not be pumping water to the heater core and back? I don't drive it in the cold months and never use the...
The water pump is leaking on my 1969 Coronet Super Bee with a 383, 4 speed, non power steering and brakes and non A/C. I am curious if the pump is original.
My lovely soon to be ex-wife wants a share of my Coronets value and the appraiser came out yesterday to inspect my cars. He claims that the vin stamping on my 1969 Mr. Norms Coronet Super Bee engine block and radiator support are somewhat crooked and look possibly faked to pass it off as...
My daughter pulled my ash tray out of the dash on my 1969 Coronet with a 150 square speedometer. I cannot get it back in. What am I missing?
Thanks
Mark
I put a 2.5" TTI exhaust system on my 1969 Coronet Super Bee (383, four speed) and the old system had turn down exhaust tips. I was told by the mechanic that straight chrome tips were an option for the Super Bee. Is the mechanic correct that turn down were standard and chrome straight...
I purchased a 1968 Coronet R/T and it has an 8 track with a strange object below it. Does anyone know what these two discs are what do they do? They do not appear to be speakers as they are flat and solid.
What is the purpose of this little gold ‘light’ on my RPM gauge? It is not connected to any electric source. I can see if it would light up after a center RPM to warn of a redline, but it appears to do nothing...like my kids.
I closed my driver side door and heard a metallic clink. Went to open my door and realized the door handle button fell in to the door frame. I am guessing the door panel has to come off the fix it.
I am going to change the oil in my 1969 Coronet Super Bee 383 cid and forget how much oil it takes. Does anyone know the oil capacity? It is a four speed manual and I do not have access to the oil pan, but I assume it is a standard pan.
Thanks.
My rear arm pad lost the retaining clip and now it is hanging by one screw instead of two. How much trouble is it to take the rear panel off to replace the clip so that the screw will hold? I have a 1969 Coronet hardtop.
Thanks
Does anyone know if this center rear view mirror is original to my 1969 Coronet R/T? The face of the mirror keeps falling down and I read to put super glue in the ball in Mopar Muscle (E booger). Is this original?
My Uncle picked up a beautiful dark blue 1968 Charger R/T last week. He was curious to about his radiator and seems to remember that they had 26” and not 22” on the 440 engine equipped B bodies. Would radiator part # 2898045 be correct for his R/T automatic transmission?
My R/t was finally put on a Mustang chassis dyno last week after the engine was rebuilt with a stroker kit (500 cid) almost a year ago. I was hoping it would be closer to 650 HP, but I am happy with the torque.
I was driving home from work yesterday around 4:15 in my Jeep SRT and got behind a 1969 blue Charger R/T. It turned left into the office buildings about a mile north of Harts Run Road on Route 8. Hoping it is someone on this site as I wanted to stop but had to be home for an appointment.
