I discovered on Sunday that not all repop fuel senders are the same. They look the same, but they are not. The one that I was installing looked identical to the original, but there was a key difference.
On the original, the tube for the fuel outlet is bent to the rear of the car, and on my...
Now that I'm wrapping up my Steelers-themed Roadrunner, I've started nudging the wife about doing another car for our Florida Gators. :) I told her I want to paint it to look like Steve Spurrier's shirt from the 1990s, with white on the rear transitioning to the blue alligator scales as you go...
I finally got around to changing the brake lines in my 74 Roadrunner, and what a PITA. Than God for my torch! I got the driver's side front out finally and got the new one in without too much trouble, but once I started on the passenger side the story changed.
The new lines look nothing like...
I went and got a new battery yesterday, and did my first post-installation tests on the 440 in my 74 Roadrunner. I was concerned because the wiring harness had been cut in a lot of places by the jagoffs who pulled the 360 out, the wires were in bad shape, painted over, faded, and it was a major...
I finally got the 440/727 into my 74 Roadrunner this past weekend, and man... Mrs. Bruzilla's little boy is hurting today! That's definitely a job for the younger crowd and I'm glad my son was there to help me. :)
The car was originally a 318/904 car, and I used the Schumacher Engineering A73B8...
Ok, so I'm having a helluva time installing a set of MP SS springs onto my 74 Roadrunner. The rear wheels are sitting too far back in the well.
I think I've found out what one of the problems is, and that is that contrary to published reports the A measurement on 71-74 B bodies is not all the...
I've been looking for new torsion bars for a 74 Roadrunner and keep seeing listings for 60 something to 1971, to 1972, to 1973, but nothing for 74 and later. I know I need the 43.5" bars and not the 41", but I'm having a tough time finding them.
Anyone know who sells the 43.5" or knows part...
Found this car on Craigslist just a few miles from me. 1974 Charger SE, looks to be pretty much all there and in good shape, and a sunroof car, for $2,500. If that were a Road Runner it would be in my garage!

I've been looking for leaf springs for my 74 Road Runner and there a whole lot more springs for 73s on the market than for 74s. So I was wondering what one needs to do to install a set of 73 springs on a 74 car, or if such an engineering feat is even possible?
I was reading up on the progress of the Road Runner concept car that Michael Leonhard is making, and he mentioned that the designer wanted a honeycomb grill in the front, and they are making it using side panels from a plastic shopping cart, sort of like the ones Target and other stores use...
I found this on ebay @ http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/Plymouth-Road-Runner-Roadrunner-Beautiful-Desert-SW-solid-High-Perf-1967-Super-Commando-383-eng-/261281305403?pt=US_Cars_Trucks&hash=item3cd594533b&vxp=mtr
I usually like creativity and being unique, but this one makes me think we should...
I didn't want to distract from the fresh air 73-74 hood string with this idea, so I'm starting a new string. I have often wondered what the benefit would be of using two fresh air lines running from the high-beam lamp openings to a closed, double-snorkel air cleaner, and installing one of those...

I guess he couldn't decide if he liked the vinyl top or the stripe better, so he went with both. :) I guess he should get some...
My son and I took my 74 Road Runner and 440/727 assembly over to Pure Performance in Jacksonville, FL on Sunday to begin the process of getting the 440 rebuilt and installed into the car.
The deal I was working to sell the 360 engine in my Road Runner to a 72 Fury owner for $1,100 fell through...
Okay, I'm confused. I need a set of motor mounts to install a 440 into a 74 Roadrunner, and I'm seeing a whole lot of conflicting information. Can anyone tell me what the correct mounts are? Links to ebay items would be super. :)

I love the guy who's selling this car. :) "Car has very low miles"... and why is there...

Yes, it's a 73/74, but it's the first time I've seen a 73/74 wearing 72 stripes. And I like using the two-tone for the doors, especially the arm rests.
