Found a video from earlier this summer . This is at St.thomas dragway in Ontario .
This was the first pass of the day with a 12.7 ET.
Working on that launch.....
Oh yea volume up the start . Announcer giving a shout out for the charger !
I added some cut-outs or dumps, whatever you want to call them, to my 440. I am running an AEM wideband 02 sensor on the driver side bank. The cut-out is approx 10 inches from the opening of the cut-out.
When I run the car with the cut out closed I idle at around 14.0 AFR . When I open the...
Went to the track today for the local Mopar day. It seemed like great weather for drag racing.
I knocked off a new personal best AGAIN! . I had plans on trying a few new things but , every time I take it out the car just runs faster as is.
Car - 68 Charger R/T (3870 with driver )

Just curious as to when/ if guys start up grading the braking system for the strip? Or just in general ?
What would you guys say is limit or you start throwing in the towel for a stock brake system on a Bbody. I have a 68 charger with a stock R/T Bendix system ( front disc rear drum) . The...

I just watched the episode on how cooler air/ water temp/ fuel effect power...
Goy my slicks mounted on the rims . And a test fit just for fun! Can't wait till Ontario opens up the track .
If all goes well should be able to post in the "12 second combo " thread !
So I finally got the chance to pick up a set of slicks for my 68. I want to see what the car has and I knew i was reaching the limit of the street tires. I am only hitting 13.2 currently with 105 mph trap. Not very fast at all I know, but I am new to the slick thing. These are obviously going...
What is everyone's opinion on exhaust cut outs. Doesn't matter if they are electric or bolt on. Are they mainly just a head Turner or do they offer any real performance gains. ?
Thought about them but also looking at the design and how it would change the flow of exhaust when open and closed...
I made it out to a Private Track rental at the other local drag strip ( Grand Bend, Ontario )
This track is well known to be the better of the 2 local.
I had plans on trying so many different things as far as tuning, but as I got going I just wanted to work on my technique. I did change tire...
I've read that removing clamps from behind the tires on your leaf springs will allow to open up and help drive the tires downward to hook. And vice versa clamping the fronts to try and avoid any bending or separation . On a street/strip car will you notice anything with regular driving by...
