Super excited to have had the opportunity to buy my 65 wagon back, California car, with a pump gas 520ci, Indy headed wedge, makes 659HP. This car hurts feelings ....it's hilarious!
Lol! Just kidding Bob! I just picked up a new street/strip toy. It's a 67 Barracuda with a 572 HEMI, tube front end, Dana 60 and a TF 727. The best part is, she has a Gear Vendors over drive, 62mph at 2200RPM with a 4:30 gear. Runs 10.15 and can drive her to and from the track. It kinda looks...
Just had my 62 delivered today. Some of you may recognize her, it's Jim Whipple's old car. It was too nice of a day to let her sit, so I took her out on the road despite the open exhaust and slicks:)

Going through and organizing some parts in the garage and forgot that I had this pan up in the rafters, is this for a 62-65 B-body with the motor in the stock location? Any help would be great! Thanks!
Hit a few bumps along the way, but it's finally where I need it to be:) These are the dyno results naturally aspirated using a tunnel ram with a couple of Dominators. The motor is built for spray and set up for it, but we ran out of time and energy.....LOL!
Finally brought her home after final wet sand and buff. Looks stunning in the sun! Kudos to Jerry Didio, Smitty and Andy Jr. of Marty and Sons Auto Body.
Engine compartment is painted inside and out. The front bars will be next in candy red. K member is all notched and all suspension ready for blasting. Unfortunately I just can't see being ready for the upcoming season :(
I had full intention on running the Indy intake with the adapters until I actually lined up the adapters to the heads. the B1 port is quite a bit larger in size and I would hate to hinder any potential flow. I wanted to run NSS, which would mean running the Indy intake with the adapters...
63 Update #4 Bottoms Up!
Flipped the car over today using a homemade tip over jig. My friends dad that runs the body shop laughed when I walked in with the wooden jig, he's now a believer......lol! It's just physics. Jig cost $90 and I can either reuse it or toss it when done.
Super excited to see my car progress so quickly. Super lucky to find a great chassis builder nearby here in the Midwest. If anybody needs any work done, contact me and I will pass on his info. He installed the following for me over the last week and did a fantastic job:
- ladder bars and coil...
Not much of an update yet........ depending on others at this point. Dropped her off at the chassis shop today. Helmet bar will be installed, ladder bar/coil over kit, motor plate and chute mount. Supposed to be done this Saturday :/ The car will be headed to the paint shop after this. Shooting...
Found a little time today to mess with my Plymouth. I put the new Dana in, mounted it to the SS springs so it's located for the outlaw ladder bar install. My son and I also put the glass hood on quick just for fun.
