I’m installing the firewall insulation. I’m trying to figure out the correct orientation for the small piece left of the steering column. It also has a perforated cut out area, not sure if I leave it or not. Holding it against the wall there are several ways it could go.
Replacing a carpet in a 67 GTX. In the front does the carpet go under the gas pedal bracket that bolts to firewall and toe board or is the carpet just cut around?
Same question on the bracket that supports the column under or just lays on top of?
67 coronet rt, white interior (seats and door panels) with black accents, dash , doors, carpet etc. would this combo have had white or black windlace in the door jamb area.

Must be an easy way, 67 Coronet, what is the procedure to remove the door glass and vent window assembly. The glass slides in the vent window drop down channel, it seems secure cant just dislodge it from the channel. The rubber corner piece on top of the vent prevents you from sliding the glass...
I'm putting a set of buckets seats in a 66 coronet 440 model. My question is about the inboard seat track studs. Did the floor pan receive reinforcement ( a welded brace etc) or did the studs just bolt up to the floor pan?
on 66 b body buckets they have what a believe is a coating or a vinyl over the seat back panels and the side panel by the seat adjustment slide. what is a good way to restore these if the original coatings/covering is too damaged?
I just bought a 67 recall steering wheel on ebay, does anyone have a recommendation for a shop that can completely restore one of these. Chrome plating, plastic wood repair, re dying the horn button etc etc.
