    Flat Gray paint over chrome? DIY ‘65 console restore

    Hello All, Started fixing up my ‘65 Console plate and frame. Sent the plate to be rechromed, and now I’m looking to apply the flat gray layer these had. Anyone done this before? Anyone know what paint will leave this flat gray look? Thanks

    Locked Glove Box 65 Satellite

    Anyone have any experience breaking into a locked glove box? I’ve never had the key. Tried going in through the rear hoping that the liner wasn’t there, but it is. Should I just admit defeat and go to a locksmith? Should I rip off that liner and replace it later?
