I just bought a replace trunk mat, depite I am going to re-back the old original one with new rubber. The backing was crumbled and came of.
Although the replacement mat has a different color, the material and shape resembles the original one (fabrik, fish bone style) pretty good.
What is the best route to restore the hardboard parcel shelf? It used to be black :). It's also somewhat hardened and the nicely grained surface is easily chipped. What type of paint and how should the hardboard be treated before painting?
Just got my new headliner from SMSautofabrics.com. Not quite happy but at least it is made out of fabric and not vinyl. The slot is far to broad, 1 1/8 inch instead of 3/8.
Is this going to be a problem for a tight fit?
My trunk/jack decal got a bit loose, so I pulled it off carefully. Is there some remedy to flatten the decal or is the best thing just to stick it on again as is?

I am looking for a new headliner. It looks like I have a dark brown with a lighter thread rather than a (standard) black headliner which is widely offered. Does anyone have the original headliner that was installed with the Black Brougham (A76 option) interior and/or has any (close up) pictures...
Looking to restore my 1974 Charger dash pad. Has anyone done this and also has some pictures before and after? Which restoration shop is best? Any advise would be appreciated.
