Can anyone identify this part. I believe it may go to a 66 car. It is the molding that goes around the steering column where it passes under the dash. The only stampings I can see on the part are 66035 and XA 2661 3841

I am starting to restore the glove box door on my GTX. It appears that someone else has tried this. On the metalized plastic, someone has oversprayed some black on it. Does anyone know any way to remove the black from the plastic without harming the plastic itself, thus keeping its shine?

I was cleaning up the interior floor on the GTX and noticed some dum-dum coming off. Can anyone recommend a good product to use to cover the seams that are now exposed? Will silicone work?
