With the help of Gary Lindsley, surviving son of the race team and Patti (also a driver of the car), I was able to get a local graphics company replicate as close as possible the original graphics of the Superbird in its 1971 state...... The car was painted it's often seen Copper...
The weekend was a nice and Sunny day here in the Houston area. After I got home from the Grocery store with the Daytona I figured it would be cool to finally get the 2 outside together.
Operation: Hemi Superbird, the former Jim Lindsley Bonneville Salt Flat record holder. As you can see from the pictures, it had various schemes from the original paint with decals to a brownish paint for which you can still see the white in the door jambs.
How it came to be... Pete called me...
Operation Aero HEAVEN bound;

Hey gang..
As most may already know from the Charger board, I sold my Superbird project since I was totally frustrated and done with the crap the body man was feeding my way... So, I sold it in about 3 hours after I got it out of the shop and set the wheels in motion for my 3rd '69 Charger 500...
Well gang.... As some may have guessed, deducted or whatever I was going to do after the sale of the Top Banana Challenger T/A, here's the answer... I have taken the duty to take on Allen's San Antonio Express, be the caregiver of his '70 Lemon Twist Superbird; 440 4bbl console pistol-grip...
Hey gang...
Not around here much ( that'll change for sure ) lately... As some may know, I've had this Daytona of mine for quite awhile. Yes, it "was" for sale for a long time ( in an effort to get one that was closer in looks like the one my Dad bought new when I was about 5 years old ). But...
