do i need a breather type valvecover cap, on one side of the engine and my pcv valve in the other, right now i just have a pcv in one cover and a twist cap in the other....
iam looking for info, on how to replace my current stock tapered axle, with the setup that the backing plate will stay on the housing, so i can just pull the axles alittle to change the third member, the current stye you have to remove the brake line ,and the e brake to get the axle out, i know...

in my 63 440 i have a slightly built 69 440 rebuilt stock trans, and 275/60 15 rear tires, looking for what size gear to use.. for a street/strip and what for a 1/4 mile and would it be better to use a 15'' slick or a stock 14 type slick for the 1/4 mile
can someone point me into the right direction on the proper linkage set up, for my 440 727 holley setup...what iam using now is a one piece that goes to the kickdown arm that has the adjustment at the tranny and a piece that bolts to the intake and has a u shape piece that pivots..has a flat...
got my 63 dodge 440 came with a pushbutton 727. no history...installed it had rev no foward... took vb out found that some tracs in the vb were bent, looks like water and may have frozen... took it back out had a guy help me go through it clutches plates seals ect...put it back in had foward and...
would the throttle linkage being out of adjustment cause the tranny to slip in drive, rev is good...would there be any adjustments, like kick down, shift cable. ect that could be out, that would make it slip in drive first and sec, act all the same... trying to cover all bases befor i take it...
i installed new freeze plugs before i put the engine in, noticed pin hole leak out of the bottom of two in the front under each motor mounts, one on each side. i didnt use any sealer whn i put them in

ok i just put in this 727 push buttob tranny, was told it was good, but you know how that goes...its goes into rev, but not low or drive, if i rev it a little its does move in drive some i have re checked the cable adj and fluid level, any ideas before i take it out...
have a chance to get a 413 for a 426 ramcharger project, what are the good the bad and the ugly i need to look for and why... was told to stay away from the 413 industrial engine, not sure why...
the trunk floor was replaced, great job, found the wire for the sending unit laying in the trunk, has two small clips look like they go on the back of the seat brace, has a factory gromet and end wire boot, but no hole in the trunk floor looking for factory placement thanks
with the 440 i just installed using the push button trans i need a pick of the right kick down rod and bracket that mounts on the intake of this trans....
