so, I have the Auto Meter Nexus gauges with the sensor module, every thing seems to work fine, except the oil pressure gauge, it comes on and flashes red when key in in the " on " position, but when i start the car, they oil press gauge goes dead, no light, no reading .. any idea's

not sure where to post this, so .. here's the problem.. 1971 RR 383
car was overheating in town, but fine on hwy.. so installed 2 electric puller fans. temp fine in town now ( had to remove clutch fan due to lack of room ) once this was done, the alternator would not keep up with fans.. soooo...
ok, what transmission fluid do i use???? 72 SSP 400 2bbl, not sure if its a 904 or 727, fender tag code says "light duty transmission"
any suggestions? I have heard that tyoe f works, but is hard on the clutches..
