I'm finishing up my 505 stroker with roller cam, lifters, and rockers. What is a good oil weight for this engine?

I'm using a hydraulic roller cam in my 505 for the first time. So be nice. When putting in the roller lifters, does the lifter alignment bar go towards the cylinders, or towards the cam/center of the block?

Is this coolant passage on the head gasket enough to properly cool the engine? It is also offset. thoughts ?

So, I scored a SD intake for my 505 that I'm building. $100. My question is; when using a square bore carburetor, what effect does the wider opening for the spread bore secondaries have? Or is it a non issue?

1974 440. Due for a rebuild. After 45 years, are these safe for a street performance engine? I did put ARP rod bolts in them 20 years ago, when I built the engine. Car ran a best of 12.12, at 110 mph, about 8 years ago. So, mostly street driving, some burnouts, etc.
