    Thoughts on Hemi

    I'm not familiar enough with newer Hemis, so anyone have some insight? I found, locally, a 2006 from a truck for $350. Owner says it overheated and "needs head gaskets". I realize it will need more than that, but as a builder, is it something to check out? Will the heads survive overheating,etc...

    Cutting the tunnel

    I've seen somewhere that in order to put a new style transmission in my '67, I'll need to raise the transmission tunnel. If so, does someone have a template, or is it just cut and raise it up a couple of inches ? I'm (finally) working the body and I'd like to get this out of the way now...

    6.1 for $1200

    I'm crossing my fingers here. I've found a guy who's ready to replace his 6.1 because it smokes and he's asking $1200 for his 6.1. I'm not sure of the year, but I've heard the car run and it doesn't sound bad. I've been reading the posts here to try and cover all the bases.
