I have this center dash ac vent. I took this out of a 70 Charger. I think this works in 68 & 69 as well but not sure, All 3 mounting tabs on the back are present ,both the vents work smoothly up & down , one side of the fins move together & a couple fins don't move side to side with the others...

All these parts came off a 71 Charger in a junkyard pick over 25 years ago. Nice ash tray, Door glass stops, weather strip ends, one rear seat belt, nice SS rear fender mldgs, steel fender lower braces, steering wheel cender plastic eith one pin missing, a pile of misc screws clips etc...
