I believe I have finished the engine install in my 65 Belvedere. This is the 540 Indy I had Muscle Motors build for me. Picked it up in 2016 and will fire it this summer. It was dynoed before I brought it home. It weighs 420# complete! I think it looks pretty good but, I'm biased.

I thought I would post a few photos of my 65 Belvedere II project. I almost have the wiring wrapped up and the drive train is done. I am ready to bolt in the instrument panel and have the front and back glass installed. Paint is done except for final touch ups and that won't happen until the...
Here are the photos of the luggage support and roll bar paint. The photo doesn't do the paint justice. It is mottled with darker metallic highlights.

I thought I would post a update on progress on my 65 Belvedere II project. I am in paint shop limbo, waiting for my turn. As soon as the 57 Ford restomod is painted I will haul all my parts and pieces 30 miles to the shop. I did finish the luggage area support (rear seat area) today. I made a...
Did that title grab your attention? Ha! Ha!
No really I wanted to show you folks the trim I whipped up on the lathe for the brake release, wipers, and headlamp switches for my 65 Belvedere . My headlamp knob was quite corroded so I had to do something. I believe these will fill the bill and...
I purchased this 65 Belvedere at the Red Barn show in 2009 for $2500.00 and have been working on it ever since. I figure I've lost 3 years recuperating from surgeries and more time due to working (now retired) and life but, damn it feels good!

Hi fellas,
As I will have adequate storage in my new console, I found a use for the space behind the glove box door. I am using the Infinity Box power system so I fabbed a panel to hold the Master cell along with the remote readout for the FAST FI and a USB charging port. I have used quite a bit...
Hi fellas,
I need a radio antenna for my 65 Belvedere project and I'm not real keen on the OEM unit. Does anyone here have any tried and true recommendations? Will any of the late model mini/stub antennas work? Thanks!
Mike
PS: my right fender has never been drilled for a antenna, that's why I...
Hi fellas,
Just finished fabrication and welding of my bolt-in driveshaft loop today. As can be seen, I already replaced the tunnel but wanted/needed a safety loop. I used 3' angle iron for the main supports, 16 gauge to reinforce the tunnel, and sections of 2" square tube for fastening the loop...
I bolted the Belvedere back on the rotisserie this PM. All I've got left to do is weld up the drive shaft loop attachment, the bulkhead wiring hole, and mount the VA unit to the inside fire wall!
Then it's ready to go back to the body shop for finishing. Mike
Hi fellas,
I'm looking for opinions on chrome hood trim with a scoop. I'm trying for a classy appearance and the scoop sort of screws that up. I do not want a "race car" style but I had to add a scoop for clearance. The scoop will be painted silver to match the upper body color. I plan on...
Hi fellas,
As some might remember I am building a 65 Belvedere II and trying to keep the exterior fairly stock looking. Well I mocked up the fenders and hood yesterday and found I only 2 1/4" of clearance from the gasket flange on the TB to the hood reinforcement. I wanted to utilize a air box...
Hi fellas,
Has anyone here installed these on an early B? I ordered a set but they were a long way from fitting. I called and described and set photos and they sent a modified set. The fit was not much better. I have not replied to them. Looking for other experience with these braces. Thanks!
Mike
