Took the driveshaft out of my 67 Hemi automatic 8 3/4 GTX.
I see the outline of 2 stripes was wondering if anyone knows what colors these would be or if there is a book that catalogs such things . I clearly see orange on the damper side of the driveshaft behind the yolk. From the dampener back...
Both of my tension rods are in the middle slot if I want to increase the lift to hold it open am I moving the rods to the slots closer to the front of car or rear of car?
I removed the fuel fill aluminum bucket and the sheet metal oval tube that hides the fill and vent pipe on the 67 Coronet. There was a packing of sorts that sealed the oval sheet metal piece as it passes thru the trunk floor. Does anyone make this packing?
I want to install the top of fender mounted directional lights on the 67 Coronet RT I'm restoring. I want to place them correctly so if possible could someone measure the location of the lights on their fenders. From the side and from the front and if you can draw a sketch that would be great.

Was thinking about buying a set of Crager Classic SS Chrome wheels for my 67 GTX. They list a 15 x 7 direct drill 5 x 4 1/2 pattern with 4 inch backspace . My only concern was the backspace, should a 4 inch backspace work ok. I wouldn't be trying to stuff a huge tire in the back.
My chrome sail panel moldings are in tough shape on the 67 RT. To my surprise the engineers really didn’t design the mounting very well. Correct me if I’m wrong but it appears the sail panel headliner has to be removed without ruining it and all the chrome inside molding around the rear...
I'm about to pull the trigger on this fine 66 Hemi Coronet, I'm wondering if any members have knowledge of the car. Located in NJ, saw the car in person, everything seems in order. Here's a link to the website where it is advertised. Please pm me if you have any info on the car that I should be...
I'm going to treat the GTX to a new set of magnums and redline tires. It's a stock car all around so I'm interested in maintaining a stock appearance. Having said that I do have a few questions and would appreciate feedback.
Should I stay with 14 inch or move up to a 15 inch wheel and tire.

My 67 GTX came with factory air. Current the heater and a/c both have issues. No hot water circulation through the heater shut valve and the previous owner suggested the a/c has a freon leak and may need a compressor. I'm worried if I start investing in the 50 year old hvac it will be one...
Need some help, maybe I'm overlooking something. The drivers side door of the 67 RT requires a forceful close to get it to latch. It seems be be lined up nicely. Nothing hitting yet I usually need several attempts to close the door, window up or down makes little difference. Is the latch just...
Has anyone bought a set of the aluminum alloy magnum 500's from Scott drake? I was thinking about putting a set of these in 15x7 on the 67 GTX. Backspace is 4.25 is that proper for the 67 GTX body?
I bought a NOS pair of fender mounted turn signal indicators for the 67 Coronet RT. No template in the boxes could anyone who has a pair of these factory mounted give me some accurate measurements and a picture or two of location?
The air cleaner on my 67 RT just seems to rub the under hood insulation cutting it. Are there different heights to these housings? Factory intake and carb no spacers used. Cleaner has 2 oval tapered snouts with breather nipple on drivers side. If there are different housing a height measurement...
I'm crazy for the looks of the 67 GTX exhaust tail pipes and tips. I really would love to have that exhaust system on my 67 Coronet RT. I can't get any of the exhaust manufacturers to say it will work. Only area of concern is the fuel tank fill pipe and hose. Is it identical to that of the GTX...
Removed the headers from the 67 Coronet RT, purchased the date coded correct wire set and the spark plug wire retainer set, it didnt come with a diagram or location for each retainer can anyone help with a photo or diagram?
