About this Mopar:
Hi Guys. At last I have found a perfect tow vehicle for our fully restored 1963 Sunliner van which were built in Bundaberg, Queensland, Australia. Fully fibreglass with tube chassis. The fury has original 318 with pushbutton 727 auto. Purchased it as a non runner and suspect it had been sitting for many years in the US. With a few days work I have been lucky enouth to get it running and driving with a real sweet engine. My luck started with finding the keys way under the front seat. Have done a temporary fix of the brake M/cylinder to enable me to move it around and get it on the hoist and see how it looks under there. It has some rust issues to address as most convertibles have so will soon be ordering Brake parts and some steel replacement panels after we strip it all down. Being a non runner it unfortunately incurred fork lift damage to front and rear bumpers getting to Australia. So will need some real nice ones. Will also replace the white convertible top. Should startle some people as we pull into the van parks here , Maybe?..................
