1966 Dodge Coronet

About this Mopar:

I purchased this car several years ago and have spent the last several years correcting all the issues created when over 15 years ago the 1968 426 Hemi 4 speed was installed in place of the 318 automatic. We have completely rewired the car with correct harnesses, changed the springs and rear end to the correct Dana 60, installed disc brakes, installed 1 inch pro-touring torsion bars, complete new drive shaft, new carpet, reconditioned the dash, installed rev-n-ator ignition module, installed old school 8 track tape player, replaced the clutch and pressure plate with high performance parts and tons of other parts and upgrades to make it a more correct clone to an original. We usually don't win at the car shows but we're almost always in the top 30. The car is fun to work on and even more fun to drive. It's like a time machine that takes me back to 1967 when I was 18 years old and these machines ruled the streets. I wanted one in the worst way so as soon as I could make enough money I bought a 1969 Hemi Charger used in 1970 which I had to sell several years later due to marriage, baby and home purchase. Sad to say but it's taken me over 45 years before I could buy another one. I know the new cars are faster, better and all that but there's nothing in the world that compares to a b-body 426 street hemi. I'm having fun with it now and no tickets yet!!
