About this Mopar:
This is my Plymouth. My dad bought this from my uncle in 1993 for $125. I helped him restore it as a kid. I cherished this car and most of my positive childhood memories are in this car. When I was in High School my dad offered to sell me this car and I jumped at the chance. I bought it and treated her well. I became quite the mechanics apprentice. I wanted to learn everything I could about how to care for this treasure and keep her on the road. She went off to college with me. Man did I score some dates driving my car. Then I joined the Army, and I went to Iraq. My brothers were driving age and I lent her to them so they would have a ride to school and work. Boy was that a mistake if I ever made one. They treated my car like the General Lee and jumped her and such. When I got back from Iraq she was parked because they blew the engine stripped the trans and broke an axel. So I am re restoring her, working on getting her back in operating condition. She runs but we (my husband and I) are still working on a charging issue. Now my kids are interested in helping me and learning how to fix cars, something I am passing on to them.
