Here is my 1968 GTX. I will and have been working on it for a few years. Started off as a butchered drag car and will never be all original again. The six-pack I removed, just never ran right. I have a roller period correct 440 with 18 spline hemi transmission I am putting in this winter. Engine only dynoed at 460 hp, so I did little tweaking to boost it a bit, so should be about 525 now. It's a cool car, not perfect, with character. In its hay-day it pulled, high 9's. I will be happy with a streetable 11's - low 12's. The last photo is of my 1968 GTO and GTX in my garage. Shortly after that photo, I sold the GTO to a friend. He was killed right after that and the car went to his father who is going to save it for my friends son - his grandson.
