Thanks for your Kind Words Pal, took me three years but finally finished it, Still a lot of great craftsmen in South Florida but they are retiring/dying off too. I was more of a General Contractor, take off the part, have a craftsman restore it, I installed it back on the car lol.
Ya Ron I see we like the 'Week 2' Vintage look, you know the first paycheck after you bought your mopar would be spent on Headers, Mags, and Fat Tires. I have some old TorqThrust aluminum center caps for sale here if you are into those. Have you heard the rumor on the New Roadrunner being similar to your 73? Lets hope so. Phil in Florida
Thanks Phil, I appreciate the heads up on the center caps but my old wheels are not really worth trying to make them look better, I have another car thats taking all my cash right now so my 73 and all i had planned is on hold for awhile... I did hear sometime ago that there was a RR coming out based on the older ones but i keep thinking they were based on the 71-72, been awhile so don't quote me on it lol.. I see you have added pictures which i thank you, I cant see enough of the cars around here and especially the 69 RR... I may get me a set of the Thrusts one day, not sure if id go with the gray or the black, i guess that depends on what color the car would be at the time, red with the black to me would look better, im still pretty fond of the Keystone classics though! wheels are like paint, hard decision now a days.. Glad i checked back here Thanks again!
