About this Mopar:
This is my 1970 plymouth sport satellite. I found an ad on craigslist that said 1970 Plymouth Roadrunner for sale. When the guy sent me the VIN number (RP23GOG127515) I had to explain to him that it was not a roadrunner, it took a few articles online for me to show him that it was not. He was a little upset because he bought it as a roadrunner. Even the title says roadrunner. It is most definitely not however. When I explained to the man how much I wanted the car he said he would hold it for me. I have heard that before, so I first did not have much faith. I offered him my dodge dart hang ten and a very clean 1977 ramcharger. He declined but said that if I could trade for some other muscle car he would trade for that. I really enjoy bartering and online trading but this task seemed like a lot. I was on craigslist constantly offering 1 or 2 cars for a mustang/cougar/nova/camaro/challenger always responded with a no or plus 5k. I finally found a 1966 impala SS that the guy with the plymouth said he would take. I traded my 77 ramcharger for the impala (going from Boise idaho to bozeman montana and back in one day) and then 2 days later took the Impala to the guy in Utah for a trade of the plymouth. I really owe him, he actually held it for me and I think he gave me the deal of a lifetime. My plan is to do a modern Superbird I am thinking a 6.4. I know that a superbird clone is probably the hardest to tackle, but my dad has pictures of him driving one in the 70's and I told him I would build one...so I will. A long hard way to go, but that's ok when it is done it will be awesome!
