About this Mopar:
These are pics of my first car in High School. (forgive the pics, they were probably taken with a Kodak 110 camera in 1985. I had to Photoshop them since my now wife had TP'd the car and wrote vulgarities on it also)
My mom bought it for me for $125 and it only needed the distributor advanced to get it running. She had a mechanic friend fix that and that only cost me the price of a 6 pack of beer.
It is a 1970 Sport Satellite with a 383 V-8 motor. Automatic transmission with column shift. I was some sort of blue color originally, but mostly faded and primer covered when I bought it.
The motor seized on Loop 410 one day, so I had to let it sit until I could find someone with a truck to tow it for me. Two days later, my friend and I drove to get the car, but it had already been towed off by the CoSA. In order to get it back I would've had to pay the tow and storage fees which I couldn't afford. So I thought I'd wait for the auction, but I missed that. I have no idea where the car ended up.
Needless to say, I'd love to find another one and restore it some day. We shall see.
