1971 Road Runner Project

About this Mopar:

Hello Guys,
Just wanted to submit a few of my project car pictures which is a 1971 Rood Runner which I bought brand new when I was in High School (Just dated myself lol) The car, was only driven in one winter in Ohio weather so it was not in terrible shape to start with. Few rust spots in the normal areas behind the wheels which were welded and smoothed out. I could not afford the buckets, center console so it is a 727 Trans on the column behind the standard 383 engine which I had the heads cut way back when to give me the same kick as the 69-70 engines. It now has a mid range cam in it with a Holly 780 double pumper. I added back louvers and wing about a year later - again could not afford it when purchased new. I did swing the extra cash for the high performance package which if I recall correctly was a 3:91 rear end posy traction with heavy duty radiator. I just added Cragar Vintage wheels which look a lot like the old Cragar SS wheels and new meats all the way around. I also added the front spoiler going into this restoration along with new carpet. I also found an air grabber hood which I have installed. I took off all the parts I could find but still looking for the right vacuum plug to handle the power brakes, carb and now Air Grabber system. (If anyone has pictures of the intake manifold plug where the vacuum system connects, it would be greatly appreciated) It should be done before this Christmas so will post the final results when finished.
