This is my 63 Max Wedge Plymouth that I've owned for 34 years now. It's a real Max Wedge car that is sporting an aluminum front end though it's not a lightweight car from the factory.
My first ride that a bought- 1972 - with my money ( $400- still have bill of sale, at 17, was a 1963 Sport Fury, Golden Commando (383), stick, in black. As part of one of the college labs required with a course the engine got pulled and complete over haul ( Canton NY, 2 year degree, course Auto Tech) Had perfect sheet metal and interior, 110K miles so engine tired. added 3.91 sure grip pumpkin, new rear springs I put them in in the parking lot at school using hand tools and the stock bumper jack while engine was out in shop, and up graded all maintenance stuff ( shocks changed all fluids etc.) one 2 hr. lab a week for the entire spring semester. What a great ride for a 17 year old kid.
