car i bought recently. havent had one in quite awhile
she's pretty complete ( i think).
she has a 440/717. i have the original 318/717 in the shed,
i know the stripe, hood, wheels are incorrect
so what!
Gorgeous 68! I do, however, wince a little when I see convertibles. With my bald scalps sensitivity to the sun and the wind blowing off a hat leaving me vulnerable, I tend to shy away. I'd be willing to risk exposure though if I could drive that baby!
Beautiful car, tasteful upgrades and may I ask is that an edelbrock aluminum intake I see there ? Is it an original H code 383 4BBL ? Any ways not important , just beautifully executed car. Hats off and break out the factor 70 then Multimopes, smear it in

i was looking for a 71/72 rr or gtx. drove alot of miles, to see vehicles, not as represented.
kinda fell into this one. i'm supposedly the 3rd owner
i bought the car as she sits. all original parts are stored in the shed, 318 motor, trans, rear gear, other misc stuff.
she has a year correct 440, .030 over, year correct 727. 3.91 sure grip.
edelbrock 7193 manifold, edelbrock 60929 heads,
tti headers, 28'' aluminum radiator, holley 4780c carb
yes, green on white. galen supposedly researched this car with previous owner. with all the paperwork i recieved, i dont have that documentation, or the build sheet. 1 of 2 known to exist with this color combo. originally a 318, now date correct 440 and 727. original drive train stored in shed. upgraded to a sure grip, front discs, added power boost last fall
