69 coronet 440

Beautiful car man! I still have all these and then some to look at.. Still want to hear that once the buttons hit for those open headers!!!

this car actually has a little humor in it's history on how it got here from the pomona swap meet. i found and bought a 1969 426 hemi engine in new brunswick canada and it sat on my shop floor for about 4 years waiting for the right donor car, believe me they are a rare commodity up here, lol. a good friend of mine who owns westech performance in LA Cali usually visits once or twice a year and was giving me a shot for not putting it into something, wtf shag it's been sitting here 4 years for fxxk sake. i told him i have bought 2 cars already off e/bay and neither one of them was worthy of putting a hemi in and you live in the land of good cars, you find me one. about 3 or 4 months later i get a call from him around noon my time, 9am his time, he tells me here's where i am, pomona, here's what i am looking at, the black plate coronet and for a bonus it comes with a 69 super bee roller. the bee had right front damage with no power train, hood or front bumper and grill and sat somewhere in the desert for quite awhile as it didn't have a lick of interior left in it with ownership and all tags. how much $$, ok buy it, sight unseen for me. he made arrangements for the seller to keep the bee at his place and had the coronet driven to his shop in mira loma where it sat for a couple of months until me and a buddy got there with a 2 car trailer. i drove it with the 318 in it for 2 years while i was collecting all the parts needed for the hemi drop-in.
