67 Coronet cruiser.

My first car, bought in '78 for $400
had good frame with typical rust of a used car from the Cariboo (mid northern BC, Canada)
mechanical & electrical work done by me, mostly with OEM parts from wrecking yards
body and paint done professionally in mid 80's

originally 440 model
Quarters without indents from 67 Coronet Deluxe,
grill & front bumper from 67 Charger
side & rear trim from 67 R/T (except 500 emblem)

original VIN drivetrain 273 2 bbl, 904 column & 2.94
currently 360 4 bbl, 727 console & 2.94

power steering
power disc brakes
air conditioning
power windows
tint glass
cruise control
power bucket seats

OutbleepingStanding!! I parted out a 67 Charger years ago with the intention of doing the hideaway swap. The parts were a bit fubared so my friend the fabricator (sounds like a mafia code name) advised me against it. We moved on from that, but I am putting the bucket seat front and rear with the full length console in. I am HATING myself for not being able to do the hideaways. Looks amazing, great job-need more pix. Mine is finally at the body shop, hoping for put-back-together thing by summers end. Seeing yours gets my Coronet blood pumping...Thanks-Dan

Back at you, I love the colour and lines of your car.
I enjoyed your gallery photos as they show the progress of your car to (current) completion.
I can relate to how rewarding it feels to have the your car finally come together after personal and mechanical struggles.
and I'm currently struggling with a fuel leak at my new sender, so I'll be searching for your link!

I contemplated putting the rear buckets in, but it was too much for me.
Good luck with you car, getting it back from the body shop was one of my favourite times.

Too much for me to put in as well, that's why it is great to have friends/family more talented than I. Will be posting photos, thanks for the well wishes

Yeah, the ol' gas tank/sending unit leak deal.
Happy to (finally) report that mine appears cured. The factory retaining ring and gasket fixed it, even with the el cheapo reproduction tank and sending unit.
I don't know if the '67 takes the same ring or not, but if it does, I have a spare new Mopar ring I could send you gratis.

After reading your thread and the great suggestions offered,
I discovered that my el cheapo retaining ring and gasket were the problem. I dug out my old OEM ones and
I'm happy to report that I finally have a leak free tank!!

my 67 should be sprayed by months end. They have 'split' and re-fitted 69 r/t side scoops (different 1/4 panel shape), drilled hoot holes to fit my 37 dodge brothers hood emblem and of course, had to redo way too many hours of previous shop's body work. was hoping for max 5 g at this shop, since I already spent 3 or 4 at the now-closed shop (rot in hell), now I am hoping not to exceed 10k

We still need to do the finishing stuff on getting it started, including putting in the gas tank and finishing off the top-mount Charger gas fill. The OD trans I bought needs a slightly different bell housing-where does the money stop (no where). The paint came out fantastic. Will definitely be back on the road for the good weather...Stay Well-Dan

I'm curious to know about your drivetrain and tire/wheel setup.

440, 4 spd (od)trans. It;s A833 trans from 70's truck. We lathed input brg plate 1/8" to utilize org bell. 245/60/15, 215/65/15 w/ magnums. BFG Radial TA's I purchased & stored yrs ago when I ran an NTB. Michelin was doing a no-brainer promo for NTB employees. I painted insert portion grey. I put on 3 spoke spinner caps, had replicas of the back quarter Dodge Brothers emblem I designed to fit over the magnum 500 decal on the center cap. New photos (and arrangement) soon...Take care-Dan
