Under Pressure, great looking GTX. I love the blue color, and Mopar Performance valve covers. I'm assuming it's a 440?
sts1985, Not sure where you could get the automatic pistol grip. My buddy has one in his 73 Charger too. I think it's the coolest thing. It has the look and feel of the 4 speed, but it's an automatic.

Thanks for the kind words, yes it is the matching to the car 440,
the shifter was on the car long ago, and I think the previous owner got it at a swap meet
OH MY! What a great color on this car, Very Good looking car!!! How long have you had it?
By far my favorite year GTX. I bought one in 1998 and still have it. It needed some work and was $3K, my friend with me that day walked away when we talked money and he thought it was 2K. He says “Geez, ya kinda paid a little much for it don’t ya think?” We just laugh now. LOL

Thanks, nice to hear from another 70 owner, I looked at your garage pics, that is one beautiful car, I love the go wing, and see it's an air grabber car too
I've had the car since 2011. Had some ignition issues shortly after purchasing. One of those things I couldn't figure out, so I parked it. Been in the barn since 2012. My brother in law got it out 3 weeks ago and found the issue and got fixed. Had it on the road last week. I need to get the air grabber hardware and get that functional again.
I just put the original shifter back on the car, the pistol grip worked fine, I just felt like putting the other one back on.
If you're interested in buying I can take some pic,s for you and you can make me an offer?
It's a simple switch out after you remove console and 4 bolts to the linkage

Thanks for the compliment Dan, I didn’t really know this was a V02 code 2 tone car till I viewed the fender tag and build sheet, I was quite happy to find it through the Chrysler Registry afterwards That it was a TX9 over EB5 factory car
Nice to hear from a new Mopar Friend
Bill
Wow, what a great find your RR is, I love originality and it now in the right hands to bring it back to its former glory. Hopefully with all the cruise in’s between or 2 cities we can meet up,
Is your RR a Lynch Rd car?
Nice to meet you cosgig
Bill
Yes, Lynch Rd. It was sold in Plymouth, Mi., to a guy in Northville. I would hope one day to meet you and park side by side, that would make quite a statement! What town are you in?
Looking forward to it, it would be cool to have a couple Lynch Rd cars next to each other at a local cruise, I’m in Livonia near I-275
Our GTX was born 2/19/70, your RR date?
