Steering gear box cleaned up and mounted to K frame
Windshield wiper under dash mount fabricated and primed
Aluminum frame/ skeleton for the Audi dash.
Hole cut for floor shift. The actual shift lever will be about 13" rearward from there because the dash is wide front to back.
Trunk lid gas lift mount with hole drilled for gas tank filler hose/ pipe to pass through in order to miss the swing of the trunk hinge arm

320 wet & dry paper under a sheet of glass used to sand down the surfaces of the heads & block. Worked a charm!

66 Charger hidden headlights mock up with new electric motors on fabricated mounting plates for alignment. white nylon spacers inserted/ pressed into the mounting donut bores to keep the center drive shaft centered in the bore. One of my better ideas!
Right rear lower quarter replacement panel fabrication
K frame all painted up with Eastwood Chassis Black tough paint.
74 valve body and trans guts laid out on bench.
fabricating a correct length/ type of shift lever torque rod for the floor shift. Center of front bumper cut out to become an air ram space.
Front bumper sliced and diced, cut & pasted to shorten, rebend, and recontour to hug the front fender outlines. also had to fill in the turn signal mount holes.
This stock bumper end spacing no longer works due to having swept back to 90* the fender noses. Upper end of steering D shaft at the Audi steering wheel head
lower end before incorporating the Borgeson knuckle & left 3/4 front of car sitting on front suspension for 1st time..
spring perches moved inboard. Valve shrouding removed from valve chamber rims
73 440 heads port matched. Port honed out smooth for increased flow..
cleaned up head ready for porting & 74 MH water pump with enlarged water flow through passage cleaned up.
73 block after electrolysis.
stock 73 440 valve train cleaned up. new Holly dual feed fuel line with inline pressure gauge. Rear main seal billet aluminum bridge.

73 440 pitons con rods, valve train laid out. Crane double valve springs and Titanium caps, also has 10* titanium locks.
