Bought this running 67 Barracuda 4spd car some 8 years ago. According to VIN it came as 273 Commando/4spd combo. Has a 340 w/489 rearend with 323:1 SureGrip but not sure if the 489 is factory. It has the small bolt pattern axles/wheels. Has been a slow progress project. Thought I would post a few progress pics if anyone interested in one of these body styles.
Fenders/doors/hood/grill assembly/trunk lid front and rear glass removed. Metal brought down to bare metal. Single stage paint job in original MM1 Turbine Bronze Metallic according to VIN tag with 7 block sanding/prime passes looking for small dents/dings, according to paint guy. Only deviation was that we went with Urethane based materials. Sheet metal work done at my shop, except for replacing lower rear quarters. Found putty in them on both sides, so we replaced with AMD panels. Let us know what you think.
Thanks
