great work,how did you determine where to make your cuton the qtr panel,how far did you come down before you marked your cut? i have to do the same. thanks

I overlapped about 1/2" for temp placement (you can see 2 cleco pins in the middle of the panel in last pic), then I traced the top of the new qtr edge onto the green tape on what's left of the original panel. Just before final welding, I trim back on the line & use the 2 clecos at the ends (taillight bucket & door jamb) to hold it, & use magnets to line up the edges (& lots of Vise-grips along the bottom edges...). The seam is ~ one & half masking tape widths (~1-1/4") down from the corner.
