1968 Plymouth GTX

About this Mopar:

'68 GTX - 505 stroker engine. Bored .030" over, stroked 4.250". 505 h.p.@ 4,900 rpm. 600 lbs. of torque @ 3,900 rpm. Built this engine at work using 452 heads I ported. 2.14, 1.81 11/32" Ferrera valves. Forged crankshaft. Main stud girdle. Comp roller rockers, Comp mechanical lifters. Comp .502/.511, 236/242 camshaft. Smith Bros. pushrods. Edelbrock Performer RPM intake. 850 QFT mechanical secondary carb. Built 727 with deep pan and cooler, 3000 stall Hughes converter. 8.75" rear with 489 case with 3.55's and Moser axles.
I bought this X in Cali in 2002 with the original black plates still on it. Paint code is JJ1, Medium Metallic gold. The X has been on stands for almost three years going through some restoration and upgrades. Hope to have it on the road in the spring.
