About this Mopar:
this is my 1967 coronet hearse . i purchased it after i sold my 1970 dodge charger. i hated to sell her but i had to pay the house payment. we were many months behind.. i bought this because i knew i was going to feel dead inside having to sell my charger. it was originally bought by a mortuary in palm spring the orig color was blue . the mortuary owner did not like black hearses , so all the hearses he purchased were blue. since then it had traveled across the country. ive even found pics of it from dif owners online i can tell its mine because of the bumper stickers on it. including mine there are 3 of these known to still be on the road ,one is in Europe. the other is back east. from what i under stand the coach builders that built this only put out about 100 coaches a year from dif base model's , this model about 10 were made . and as soon as i get the glass back in you will see the only back window that they made of this style. i had had a email from one of the owners of the makers of my hearse , he told me he remembered this hearse in particular because of the back window and it being the only back window they made in this style . and i can see why . its not easy to see out of it.
its actually a first call hearse or a jr. hearse . its what they would pick the body up in from the coroners office . its not made to carry a casket
