About this Mopar:
Welcome to my Gallery,
Huge project...I'm putting a 2005 Dodge Ram SRT-10 drive train, plus comforts, into a 68 Coronet. There are just a few difficulties I've ran into, but thus far nothing that can't be overcome. The fuel cell needed to be pressurized for the Viper motor; it was custom built to sit in the trunk area behind the pass seat and hold 41 gallons. Unfortunately the instrument cluster from the SRT will not fit the OE dash above the steering wheel; therefore the dash will need to be modified with the instrument cluster centered over the trans tunnel (mid dash). Also onboard computer requires the OE instrument cluster for the engine to start.
I just finished building the seat frames and dry ran the dash and steering assembly (9-2011).
