The charger has been in the qaunsit for at least 15 years. Pretty solid so far, just a few rust areas (passenger wheel well, roof by rear glass that I plan to replace the roof skin for, small rust area in each of the inner sail panel area by rear glass, 2 spots on the driver's side trunk floor, so far that is all I have found). Fenders are good and straight, one dent on the rear driver's side quarter by the bumper and the deck lid has a small area that needs to be straightened out. Floor pans are good as are frame rails. The interior needs reupholstered and buddy seat and seat belts replaced. Door panels need redone, glass is good and intact except windshield needs replaced. Engine and trans ( non numbers matching) need redone, grille is intact, needs grey trim repaired. Miscellaneous pieces need to be found and put on, normal replacement pieces like the front valance, door scoop, side markers need to be found and put on. Slowly working on it, hoping to have it drivable in the next 2 years.20161116_133100.jpg 20161116_133100.jpg 20161113_165740.jpg

Update of progress... Hood, fenders, doors, bumpers, deck lid, tail lights, finish trim for tail lights all removed. Dent on driver's rear about 85% removed, 1 small crease will most likely need body filled. Started some sanding on the passenger side, well my nephew did as I was working on the dent. Found a small rust hole under the driver's side wrap around part of the rear bumper, maybe a nickel in size, so that will get patched.

Update, dismantled a large portion of the grill and bumper shell this weekend to hopefully get parts sanded it media blasted and begin plastic restoration then repaint

Cool find

Little bit of an update, I started on the grille resto and here is how it is going currently. I'm pretty pleased with how it is turning out so far. I'm using 100% acetone with some broken pieces of my spare parts grille to repair and replace broken sections and pieces. Then lots of sanding. I plan to use filler primer to fill in the small blemishes after I get I'll the repair spots sanded down.
