Good Morning B-Body fans and owners alike!
I'm opening this page to do more than show off the build up of a novice and his charger. I'm here to show the absolute chaos that comes of building a Pro-touring 70s Muscle car with the vast internet database that is YouTube! keep in mind i come from a relatively non mechanical background, in that my father could change an alternator if he needed to but never volunteered for the job. i learned bits and pieces from dad and friends and was able to keep a tired old land rover running through college. but I've always had the thought in my head that i want to build something really cool! mind you my Degree is in Psychology, so college still did not prepare me to take on this endeavor. However YouTube has been a great ally! through watching countless car building shows i have been amassing everything i could think i would need in order to get these jobs done. it hasn't been cheap but overtime and with frugal decision making (garage and estate sales are amazing places to pick up some of your larger tools) it has not put me into any financial burden to build up.
Disclaimer, i have worked a few mechanical jobs... i was a body man for about 3 months at the end of senior year in college. i worked at a city bus maintenance garage(building maint not vehicle) and my current job in tire sales started out as a roadside semi tire technician. i wont try to say i am completely mechanically dumb, i learned bits and pieces, basically enough to build my confidence. please bare with me. i will make mistakes, however i plan on showing those off just as much as the successes! thank you for following my project! your feedback is very welcome!
