1969 Plymouth GTX

About this Mopar:

Three photos of my project (1969 GTX).

Left side image is current state of the car.
Q5 paint (what is not covered up in primer) is original paint.
The red primer is Rusty Metal Primer that I used just to stop any surface rust temporarily after I removed the vinyl top (which was badly cracked) a while back.

The right side partial photo shows the original color fairly well (red spots are primer where I sanded out small surface rust areas and coated).

This car is original, and I have all the original parts except the carb and the chunk gears for the rear axle (some will have to be reworked/restored though). However, I do have a dealer correct six pack to put on it at some later date, and a Dana 60 that came out from under a 68 GTX four speed I had a few years back (sold it, dammitt, :angry1:).

Comments

After I looked at these on the post, these photos suck. I'll put up some better ones at a later date.
