440 and 727 sound like great choices. Like the idea of Cragar's too. BUT, may I suggest the Magnum 500 or Rallye road wheels. Best of luck with it. Please keep us updated.

I came aweful close to buying rallye's for it.. I do like the 500 mags as well. I spent literally two weeks deciding which wheels.. And another 6 or 7 deciding the size.. Heh, i eventually broke down and asked the wife.. She said the really shiny ones so i pulled the trigger on the cragars

For the short term, I would try just compounding the paint. It just might surprise you!

Nice charger. Had one with a 318 in it with slap stick 727 trans. Don't sell that little small block short they can really go. :thumbsup:
