This is going to look so amazing rumbling around the U.K. And it'll be a tight fit down so many streets!

New Garage now completed apart from power and lighting ...
After a few tangles and set backs with the registration process my satellite has finally come home yesterday and is complete with new U.K registration number ( and a huge thank you to all at the DVLA for your help and number plate- in the UK we are allocated a year related plate - 1972 is a 'K' prefix- my initials are GVG I was born in '63 - I couldn't have wished for a better number , the car came from a true North Carolina gentleman ...

400 cube \ 727 slap stick , bucket seats in blue ... Really BLUE ha ha !

Update Dec’ 18
New pic = LED headlights being installed , list of “pre Christmas jobs to do “ now coming close to finishing .
So far - new indicator column camber fitted , Fit new headlamp glass units x4 and gained small ‘ side light ‘ inside new units then LED headlight upgrade Done , stop \ tail LED upgrade done , modified 1972 reverse ‘clear section’ lamp housing now single LED bulb with twin aspect orange +white LED indicator & reverse done, new electronic indicator relay done. Rewire front wing orange markers to become LED indicators and rewire lower front orange lights to become indicators - now have LED orange ‘side repeaters’ and front lower orange as LED indicators . modified to fit new heavy duty HT leads fitted to clear manifolds and steering box. Original 46 year old ‘birds nest ‘ wiring traced under dash and engine bay and gone through front to rear end - cut out old crap tested/tidied/labelled . Aftermarket stereo removed. Drivers door pillar old broken / worn hinges removed / minor corrosion around hinges / treated /new putty / painted /sealed . New drivers door hinges fitted / painted / drivers door realigned all done .

Will post more pics and LED headlight conversion kit info as requested .

Things still to do - fit replacement header panel emblem , fit complete weather strip kit ( cats whiskers ) , remove centre console and repair , source new centre console door then complete plastydip as close to match blue original as possible .
Source Undamaged / un cut original wood grain section of dash to replace current ‘gaping hole ‘ after recent removal of aftermarket stereo .
Whilst dash is out - upgrade every lamp with LED .

Check for new dash pad replacement or remove original and get estimates from local trimmers to recover .

source old 8 track player gut and convert to mp3 plug in to emulate 70s 8 track ‘stock look’
